Awakening the sleeping giant in Nigerian youths


On behalf of Board of Directors and Management staff of Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative, I welcome you to another year.
Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative is a non-governmental organization/social enterprise working in the area of leadership, education, entrepreneur, youth advocacy and development, and good governance.

The organization was born out of deep burning passion to see youth excel in all ramifications. The organization is determined in building, restructuring and developing the mindset of youths towards achieving success in leadership, academics, entrepreneurship and community development.

Last year, 2017 was an eventful year for the organization. The organization started it full operation that very year. We were able to weather the storms and work as a team in pursuing the aims and objectives of the organization.

During the year under review, some of the achievements of the organization includes;

  1. Full registration of the organization with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration no CAC/IT/NO 95460 and it was well signed and dated 8th of March, 2017
  2. The organization also opened a current account with Sterling Bank Plc. The details of the account is;

  3. The organization partnered with Center For Productive Visionary Leadership to organize a two days Leadership Entrepreneurial Development Workshop which took place on 17th and 18th of March, which 2017 at Iwo City Hall, Iwo.
  4. The organization is fully registered and recognized by Ministry of Empowerment and Youth ENGAGEMENT, State of Osun and National Youth Council of Nigeria.
  5. The organization organized arguably the biggest Youth event in Iwoland- Iwoland Youth Conference bringing together more than 1000 youths from three LGs in Iwoland (Iwo, Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa). The conference took place on 8th of April, 2017 at SeeBee Hotels and Event Center, Iwo.
  6. A seminar on 'HOW TO MAKE As IN WAEC/NECO' was organized for secondary students preparing for external examination. Anwar-u-Islam High School, Iwo and Baptist High School, Iwo among other schools were visited in the month of May, 2017.
  7. The organization also embarked on a project 'Vote, Don't Fight Campaign' July 8, 2017 Senatorial By-Election in Osun state.
  8. The organization also too part in a summit organized by POLICE COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMITTEE on July 30, 2017.
  9. Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative partnered with Rotaract Club of Iwo Community Based in organizing a lecture in commemoration of International Youth Day 2017 on Sunday, 13th August 2017 at Kofolad Hotel, Iwo. The Guest lecturer was Mr Jubril Akintayo. The theme was YOUTHS BUILDING PEACE and the topic was INVOLVEMENT OF YOUTH IN NATION PEACE BUILDING
  10. Arise and Impact Nigerian Youths Initiative also joined other organizations in Oyo state to commemorate the INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY which was tagged Ibadan4Peace. Africa Youths Union Commission championed the peace walk.
  11. The organization also packages a FREE GOOGLE SKILLS TRAINING for than 500 Youths in Iwoland. The training was delivered by Haptics Academy on 29th of November, 2017 at Iwo City Hall, Iwo.
  12. The organization tool part in GLOBAL ENTERPRENUERSHIP WEEK which took place between 12th and 16th of November, 2017 at Osogbo, Osun State.
  13. In the year under review, we launch our website and other social media handles.

These are some of the achievements of the organization in 2017.

As 2018 begins, the organization is open for partnership, collaboration and sponsorship. Programs to be undertaken in 2018 will be made public soon.

We envisage a new Nigeria where youths take the lead by fostering a transformational leadership based on the ideas of liberty and democracy, encouraging and stressing the importance of education and academic excellence, promoting the beauty of entrepreneurship and engagement in community development and social justice.
